Attention Parents! We need your help...
It’s almost that time again! Our students will be taking the Palmetto Assessment of State Standard (PASS) and SC Ready assessment on April 26 - 27 and May 2 - 4.
It is very important that our students have a steady supply of energy while taking the PASS and SC Ready to function at their best. We would like to provide a healthy snack for our student while they are taking the assessment.
To make this effort a success, we need your help! We are asking for the assistance of our parents to help us, help our students. Your donation will bring us one step closer to providing a snack for all of our students on each testing day.
District approved pre-packaged individually wrapped snacks:
If you have any questions about making a donation, please feel free to contact me by phone at (803) 738-7575 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
W.G. Sanders very own Gary Monroe auditioned and has been selected to attend the SC Governor's School for the Arts in Theatre!!!!
This is a huge accomplishment. Over 1000 8th grade students auditioned across the state for 30 spots, and Gary was chosen as one of the 30. Not only was he competing with over 1000 students, but these were also the best of the best students who put forth tremendous effort to complete an extensive application and a grueling audition process. We are so proud.

A Message from the Principal:
I take great pride in being the principal of W. G. Sanders Middle School because of the wonderful staff, students and parents. I continue to be amazed with the rich history of traditions that help prepare students for a successful career in high school.
This year we are implementing a wide variety of developmentally appropriate strategies in facilitating the learning for our students. Teachers continue to infuse technology into student lessons, and teachers continue to provide a challenging curriculum for our students.
Stop by our parent and community center to find ways in which you can support our community initiatives. Also, take a look at our mission statement, our beliefs and our action plans. Give us feedback as we continue to monitor and enhance our instructional program.
I look forward to working with all of you.
